Event Nine

Ever since I've crawled behind that thing called "MICROPHONE", had been an addict of that tiny creature which gives so much of meaning, supplies so much of oxygen to my forlorn days, makes my life a little more easy to cope up with. Yes! on the double. Handled over 1000 events till now, but the agony of not having compered / anchored that last show gives me sleepless nights, and I keep wondering, wha would I be doing if I was not on the stage behind that microphone....oohhhh! I'd rather be twisting in my coffin. This aspect of the stage played an amazing integral part in my life, for at least in the last 15 years. The people I met, the work which I've done, the kinda events in which I played part, the sound guys, those artists, the singers, the tattoos which I painted on my face, hands, wrists, and back...the labor with whom we had shared that midnight tea n samosa, the celebrities who had shared their drink with us, the guests and clients who shared their experiences with all of us, the audience who shared their days, nights and evenings with us...all of this is so rich in it's original picture, gives me so much confidence and meaning to live further.

So many individuals, so many events, so much of energy, so much of excitement, so mu ch of meaning to this life which means so much more of reason to live a moment more, how can this be explained!!! Years have gone by, people have gone by, events have gone by, circumstances have strolled by, all well here but me the same old scoundrel, hm! hm! hm!, never to change.....why should I?
